Egypt’s International Film Festival is an annual film festival that takes place in May, and showcases feature films, short films, and documentaries. Our festival focuses on appreciating the hard work and talent of independent filmmakers and helping distribute their works. Our mission is to help filmmakers gain a strong exposure in the film industry through various screenings, networking events, panels, and forums. EIFF’s board is full of experienced film directors, screenwriters, and actors/actresses that will be attending the festival and networking with filmmakers.
ABOUT US
Egypt’s International Film Festival was organized with the sole purpose of appreciating independent filmmakers and celebrating the completion of their feature films, short films, and documentaries. Our mission is to help filmmakers gain a strong exposure in the film industry through international marketing opportunities, and networking events. We are proud to be the only festival in Egypt that views and evaluates all types of films. Our festival was born when our committee recognized Egypt was lacking a festival that was inclusive and accepted all genres and types of films.

SUBMISSIONS
Egypt’s International Film Festival was organized with the purpose of accepting both established and emerging filmmakers. EIFF has assembled a selection committee consisting of experienced professionals, critics, and industry experts that were gathered locally in Egypt, as well as Canada, and the United States of America (USA). Our screeners (judges) meticulously assess the film based on a fixed criteria which focuses on the technical aspects and overall impact of the film. We strive to assist filmmakers in marketing their films internationally and thus gaining the proper exposure for a chance to distribute their films. Our festival is now open for submissions. Egypt’s International Film Festival welcomes and invites you to submit your film today!
